Eye-opening, Safety Test with a Wingless Sprint Car

New tests are being performed on race cars periodically. These experiments ensure that safety measures are always being analyzed and improved. None of us want to think about worst-case scenarios involving crashes. However, the reality is that they can and do happen. It’s far better to be as prepared and knowledgeable as possible.

This test by the Center for Advanced Product Evaluation (CAPE) in Indianapolis on a Wingless Sprint Car chassis had some eye-opening results. These findings were directly applied to improvements on future chassis. Kudos to all of the companies, who go above and beyond to improve the safety of their products.
