At the 2012 PRI Trade show we finally got to see the Chevrolet’s 2013 NASCAR Sprint Cup car. Thursday morning the folks in the Automotive Racing Products booth teamed with Richard Childress Racing to unveil Jeff Burton’s 2013 Caterpillar sponsored Chevrolet Cup car.

CV Products’ booth was stuffed full of every racers dream parts, components, and tools. Trust us, it was standing room only and it was only natural that we gravitated towards their epic line of do-all race parts. This year, CV Products was taking the show by storm.

The late country singer Marty Robbins, one of the most popular country artists of his era, had two great loves in his life, singing and racing. Many people don’t know that the singer who belted out hits like “A white sport coat and a pink carnation” and “El Paso”, was also a very avid race car driver in NASCAR.

QA1 developed a new pair of circle track one- and two-piece body mono-tube shocks. Dubbed the 26 and 28 Series respectively, the 26 and the 28 Series shocks offer an excellent solution to the aggressive circle track racer.

Weld Racing’s Kyle Fickler is a man who pays attention to detail – when we caught up with him at this year’s PRI show, we got a little bit of an education on just how important those details can be when it comes to making a wheel for the street or strip.

Those little stickers on the back of a race car mean something. It isn’t a random parts list, it’s a badge of pride for that company. Also those stickers typically represent a contingency pay out – a company that is willing to pay the racers for winning with their parts. But it can also mean a trip to Hawaii!
